No, I don't believe they are, but a great place!!!
Available for private parties only, otherwise closed.
Food was great and our waitress did an amazing job making us feel welcome!
Good food, good service. Very pleasant dining experience.
Outstanding food and drink. The Mules are great. Great place for dinner in the area. With a drink, appetizer, meal and dessert, expect to pay about $30-35 pp, for a chicken, pasta or seafood dinner which is very reasonable for the high quality. A little more if you get steak, but will definitely return when in the area. Highly recommend.
Great service, excellent meal...the ambiance was perfect for a girls night..see them in two weeks!
Excellent food. Prices are above average. Very nice atmosphere.
We love Gialy's. They have a great martini menu, good wine, beer and liquor selections. The atmosphere is friendly and fun. The food is good. They have a great lunch menu, too.
Nice atmosphere. Nostalgic, and the food was excellent.
Great food and great service!
It was fine. Waitress was very nice and friendly.
I ordered braised beef ravioli. I thought it might of just been my palate but my friend I went with confirmed it was outright sad compared to the other food there. The waitress got it replaced with a gnocchi dish that was acceptable. They do hilariously add an overabundance of sauce to everything.I might try it again in a few months.
Food was great and waitress
Visiting town in upstate NY on way to Niagara Falls. At a loss for a good place to eat. Gialy’s was on a long list of restaurants recommended by our hotel, so we chose that one, as we were in the mood for Italian food. I’m always hesitant to go Italian, especially when in a new area, as I’m from a big Italian family, with lots of chefs, and also in the restaurant business. I HIGHLY recommend it! The food was fantastic! Service was great, even tho we didn’t have reservations, but I would suggest them, in case it can be a busy night, as tonite was. Portions were tremendous. We shared a Burrata appetizer (glad we shared, as dinner portion was huge), followed by Lobster Ravioli and Chicken Parmesan/ Spaghetti, both served with a nice fresh salad and bread.
Unfortunate! For my 24th birthday I ended up at Gaily's with my family. The food was priced on par with the finer restaurants Jamestown has to offer unfortunately the food is not up to par. I ordered the 15oz strip steak medium rare with a marinara pasta side. I wanted to like this place as I do any newer restaurant that opens in my hometown however the food just is not of reasonable quality. The steak lacked flavor and the cut was chuck not strip. The steak was so bland you may question if it is a steak. The pasta I ordered was carelessly covered in a ladle full of marinara sauce that had a bitter taste as if it was more seasoning than actual tomato. My father had a taste and needed to grab a beverage to wash down the odd acidic flavor. The service was impeccable however the kitchen staff should consider making a career change.
Very good food. A little pricey but extremely nice atmosphere. Love going there after my computer hacking classes.
In town for business and saw menu on line... the seared calamari appetizer caught my eye... You don't see 'seared' very often. Tuesday night, not a lot of people in there. Got a table, great service, the seared calamari was quite tasty. Had the Grouper special... also very good. Didn't try any drinks (wasn't in the mood) so can't comment about the bar. But I'd recommend, and will definitely consider dinner here again, on my next visit to Jamestown! Update: just visited again a year later. Brought my wife this trip... She loves this place too. Excellent dinner! We will return when in town.
First time there. Had a great meal. Brittany was our waitress and went above and beyond. We will be back!
First time visiting this establishment last night, and it was fantastic! My waitress, Whittney, was very knowledgeable and recommended the ravioli special with chicken and it was great. She was very friendly, and attentive, and my wife and I couldn’t have been more pleased. My wife got veal which was very tasty and large portions. We couldn’t have dessert as we were too stuffed but I highly recommend this restaurant and kudos to our server!
Always fine service and delicious food.
Great place
I have not been here since I was a child with the new owners I was very pleased with my meal my service. The drinks were excellent the food was fantastic I had the butcher's cut steak the melt in your mouth and cut with a fork. Tammy Had sea scallops done to perfection on a bed of risotto. I would recommend for anybody to give it a try.
My husband and I had looked forward to enjoying dinner at this restaurant , but now we're sorry they were able to seat us on a Friday night. We were charged over 44.00 for the rib eye special, an exorbitant amount in our opinion. We didn't ask for the price of the specials which was our mistake . As senior citizens we are cautious about overspending and 44.00 for 1 meal is definitely overspending. Maybe prices were inflated due to the Lucy Fest. Waitresses should provide prices when announcing specials. On a positive note...the salmon was very tasty.
Wonderful little restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Food was delicious. Didn't immediately take our drink/appetizer order, but the wait staff was great. A few minor details prevent 5-stars but, if I'm in the area again, I'll be back.
Good food and very good service
Fantastic venue! Brought my girlfriend and her parents here to give them a taste of what Jamestown has to offer and we were not disappointed. The establishment was clean, tasteful, and classy. You don't need reservations, but it is recommended. They had a wonderful drink selection, great starters, fantastic entrees, and delectable deserts. The soups were hot and tasty, salads were fresh and crisp, and bread was warm. We had ordered pasta dishes and a steak dish for our main entrees and they all came out hot, how we ordered, and were freshly made. Our waitress was personable and professional at all times which really added to the experience. The dining room was well lit and well laid out with plenty of different seating arrangements and enough space between other tables so you could carry on a conversation the entire night. I work at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel and I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to every guest that stays with us!
Wonderful food and service.
Delicious gluten free pasta dinner. The. Marinara sauce was awesome. Historic atmosphere and friendly service.
Great atmosphere, Easy to relax and enjoy your meal. Tables are just right, so you can have a conversation with the people at your table and not hear another tables conversation. The Lobster Bisca was wonderful.
Hit or miss. Either it was excellent or just so/so. Ive been twice, not sure if Ill be back since last time wasnt very good. 1st time was excellent but a month later..no. its been over a year since ive been there now.
If you're looking for a comfortable, welcoming venue, this is it. Large bar and dining area along with a more formal dining room in the back. The food is terrific!! John, the bartender, is a pleasure to be around. Treat yourself!
Great place for dinner and relaxing atmosphere
Very nice place for dinner or a few drinks. Pleasant atmosphere. I like it very much.
Good menu choices and cozy atmosphere.
We had a great lunch there today and very affordable! I had an open prime rib sandwich and my wife had a chicken BLT and we shared a beer cheese soup. All were specials and they were all great. I love the atmosphere and the staff including the owner were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to coming back and would gladly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great food and atmosphere!
Wanted somewhere to just sit and have a warm meal with a cold beer. I picked the right place!! Felt like I was at home sitting at the bar and being able to eat. Bartender was very awesome and the food was fabulous. I would recommend to anyone that they stop in here to have dinner .
From the first greeting to the last bite, Gialy's was top-notch! They offer a menu of things I haven't tried, yet. I had a cup of the mushroom brie soup.. Amazing!! So was my entree, the chicken valdostana. My date got the fettuccine alfredo with chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly! Their portions are generous and the staff is fantastic! Very friendly and attentive! The best part was even though it seemed on the higher scale as far as menu and atmosphere goes, they make you feel welcomed no matter who you are or what you're wearing! We will definitely be back!!!
Was ok not the best and not the worst I have had. Got the Prime Rib Open Face special was super dry.
simply amazing and the most high tech interactive museum i've ever visited
Cant Say Enough. Great Prices. Great Service. Anthony Is A Class Act..
My husband loves to go for the steak, he says it's the best steak around the area (and he knows his steak). I like a variety of things on the menu. The service is 100% wonderful everytime.
Such a great place and a great addition to downtown Jamestown!
Went here for our 5 year Anniversary tonight. Food was awesome and all of the staff were so nice! Homemade pasta was delicious. Last time I had homemade pasta lasagna like that was at the Gaylord hotel in Nashville. Everything was so delicious!
My favorite restaurant in Jamestown
Excellent staff, owner is often on site and very friendly, very good food selection... I'd say, competitive prices (mid-range) for restaurants in the area and what you're getting. Above average beer selection with the bonus of rotating taps (rare in the area).
Friendly and fun. I can't wait to come back! I haven't felt this comfortable, relaxed and enjoyed every second of a restaurant experience in a very long time.
Lovely atmosphere.Friendly service. The food was average at best. Lobster bisque and homemade bread was excellent. We ordered Prime Rib- it lacked any flavor no garlic flavor at all. We added salt, pepper and horseradish to add to taste. Topping were mushroom and onions. , fatty cut. Order medium doneness and more like medium well. Prime rib was $28.99 each. Large cut but fatty and not tender. Over priced. Vegetable medley was over cooked too. When here for our 27th anniversary. Very disappointed.
Just happened upon this place after visiting the Lucy museum. Great service and food.
So I had never of this restaurant until we had a terrible experience at the Jamestown Brewing Company. We came here this evening and the Host who was tending to our Table "Antonio" was absolutely phenomenal. My table gone to the bar for a shot and Anthony was professional with alot of knowledge in the drinks with what was available. Back at our table the food was amazing, made exactly how it was ordered. I would recommend Gialys to anyone visiting the Jamestown area! Thanks again Antonio!
Lauren and Anthony are fantastic! The food is amazing and the service is great. Wonderful atmosphere, too.
